A Hit Dog Will Holler
I was one of the people most excited for Jon Stewart to return to the Daily Show. And I was not disappointed. His first show back he tackled the issue of both Biden and Trumps age and mental fitness to hold office. And really even that characterization isn't the most apt.

If you were to go to Twitter or any number of social media sites, you would be reading about how Stewart did "Both Sides" and is a hack and as Mary Trump alleges "a danger to democracy". I couldn't disagree with either assessment more if I tried.
I am not a politico or pundit. I am an average citizen who loves politics. No fancy degrees, nor am I on any payroll for either Party. If you are not in the Biden or Trump cults and are out here in reality where most people truly are, we know what Stewart was saying. And the manufactured outrage by the Biden Machine proves his point.
Stewart was NOT in any way shape or form performing both sides or whataboutism. He WAS saying that both are troubling candidates who lets face it, ARE OLD. That's not someone's opinions, these are facts. They are the oldest candidates, beating out the record....they themselves set in the last election. And he made the point, that while both are old and their gaffs a plenty, one is a clear and present danger.
He went on further to state, it's not the voters job to not ask valid questions. It is up to the Candidates to assuage US THE VOTERS of those concerns. Not us to not ask them because they might inconvenience the candidates. So of course this put the Biden Cultists out in full force "He is the sharpest mind we've had in xyz! He is so damn sharp in meetings and etc". Well why don't we have some footage of that rather than the garbage we do see?
There are many issues with Biden. One of those is his age and ability to handle the immense pressures and stresses of the commander in chief. But it's not the only one. Let's talk about his electability which was in question long before the Stewart episode. Let's talk about how when he ran he said he saw himself as a one term president, get everything stable and safe from the Orange buffoon and then he was going to be out. What happened to that?
Let's talk about his disastrous support for the Netanyahu government and their war on Gaza. That in itself has lost him a great deal of support. Let's talk about his failed promises. The biggest one I can think of being the College Relief we were promised. The Democrats have learned nothing from the Clinton/Trump election. Just because you are the D candidate, doesn't mean you are OWED anyones vote. You have to EARN it.
Instead you have establishment democrats chastising progressives and leftists saying how we should just bend the knee for Biden regardless. And honestly most of us will vote for him if it is indeed Biden vs Trump. But lets get real, its not a slam dunk this election, and they continue talking down to the voters, and assuming everyone should just get on the Biden train without any thought, THEY will be the ones handing Trump another victory, not Jon Stewart, or Cornel West or anyone else they want to blame their failures on.
